What is Global Shapers Guadalajara?
Global Shapers Guadalajara is part of the Global Shapers Community, an initiative of the World Economic Forum. It brings together young leaders from Guadalajara, to create and lead projects that address local challenges, promote social impact, and foster positive change in the community.
How can I join Global Shapers Guadalajara?
You can apply by filling out the form in the contact section of our website, where you’ll find three application options: Global Shaper, Hub Collaborator, and Hub Partner. To join as a Global Shaper, you must be willing to collaborate on volunteer projects in Guadalajara and be part of the change. It’s important to note that being a Global Shaper is a volunteer role, not a paid job, and there is no financial compensation.
What is the difference between a Global Shaper, a Hub Collaborator, and a Hub Partner?
Global Shaper: A young leader (18-28 years old) who is an official member of the Global Shapers Community, involved in volunteer projects.
Hub Collaborator: Individuals over 28 years old who cannot join as Global Shapers due to age restrictions. They are not official members but contribute locally through mentorship, project support, and participation in events.
Hub Partner: Organizations that collaborate with us through grants, resources, or strategic partnerships to support and amplify the impact of our projects.
What kind of projects does Global Shapers Guadalajara undertake?
Our projects cover a wide range of areas, including improving health and well-being, promoting inclusion and diversity, protecting the environment, and strengthening civic engagement. We work in collaboration with various local and international stakeholders to implement sustainable and effective solutions.
How can I support Global Shapers Guadalajara if I don't meet the requirements to be a Global Shaper?
If you don't meet the requirements to be a Global Shaper, you can still support us as a Hub Collaborator or Hub Partner. As a Hub Collaborator, you can offer your time and skills for specific projects. As a Hub Partner, your organization can collaborate with us through grants, resource donations, or forming strategic partnerships to amplify the impact of our initiatives. Your support is crucial to our success!
